Cold exposure that fits your training — not the other way around

A cold plunge — full-body immersion in water at 3–6 °C for a few minutes — is one of the most studied tools for sports recovery. It helps reduce the feeling of fatigue and soreness after hard training, and leaves most people with a sharp hit of energy and focus.

Nordik brings the ice bath (and the sauna, for contrast) inside your own club or gym in Madrid — twenty metres from the changing room. You finish training, you recover on the spot, guided by someone who controls the timing and the breathing.

What a guided cold plunge gives you

RECOVERY

Less soreness, faster back

Cold immersion after intense effort helps dial down perceived fatigue and next-day soreness — useful when you compete or train again soon.

ENERGY

Clarity and a mood lift

The cold triggers a rush of adrenaline and noradrenaline that leaves you alert and clear-headed. Many people get hooked on this more than the muscle side.

GUIDED & SAFE

Never your first plunge alone

We control temperature, timing and breathing on every session. The cold response can be intense — you should never start on your own.

Cold plunge in Madrid — FAQ

What is a cold plunge?

Full-body immersion in cold water (typically 3–6 °C) for a few minutes, used to support recovery after training. At Nordik it's always guided.

Is it safe?

For most healthy people, yes — done with a guide. If you have a heart condition, very low blood pressure or you're pregnant, check with your doctor first. This is sports recovery, not medical advice.

Where can I do a cold plunge in Madrid?

Nordik installs the ice bath inside clubs, gyms and boutique studios across Madrid. We're opening the first locations now — join the founding list and we'll tell you when yours opens.

Do I need a gym membership?

No. Sessions are open to non-members in available slots. If you already train at the club, even better — you're twenty metres from the changing room.
